There are dances at the Masonic hall with entrance fees of $1. The people are Republican. Joseph A. Jesmer was hosting dances at his farm. Nelson E. Jesmer is expanding his home. A barbershop opened up, next to Nelson’s store that would later employ some Jesmers. Nelson E. Jesmer’s daughter died. There is a few pages of advertising to show what life was like at that time.
