Dear Lord, I come to you in prayer for the future president our nation. Guide the whole election process. Help to reveal your choice for the leadership of this nation. Place the right person in office, the one of your choosing. May they be a good leader for our people as a whole. May that person’s election serve your purpose in history. We know that you are working in history, bringing your purposes to fruition. We trust you Lord. We are not praying to force your hand in establishing a president of our own choosing. We want to accept the one, you are going to allow into the office. We will not complain about the results, wondering “How can that have happened?” We will trust you in all things, knowing you are the sovereign Lord and your purposes are being fulfilled. I pray all of these things in Jesus’ name. Amen!
