Do Not Neglect The Church 12/19/11
People may think that their non christian friends are funner, less judgmental, cooler and more real and that non Christian activities are “freer”, funner, and less restrictive. But that does not mean that we should avoid the fellowship of believers and the church. 1 Timothy 3:15b reads, “…you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.” God dwells among his people. Hopefully the church is upholding the truth. We may not get along. We many be bored. We may be “erked” by certain people. But we are God’s people and we must be ONE in Jesus’ name. Think of it as one big family gathering at Christmas. Young people…do not neglect the church.
