Edwin Dwyer is Julie’s great uncle.

Uncle Edwin lived in San Francisco. He was Sarah Maude (Dwyer) Mass’ brother. Helen Nugent’s (Julie’s mom) dining room furniture is from his house in San Francisco, California. He was a generous man, paying for the twin bed set that Julie and her sisters grew up with. He ran a dry cleaners in the Tinderloin district.
