Familial Connections Between First Nation Communities in NW Ontario
Familial Connections Between First Nation Communities in NW Ontario
As one researches the First Nation communities in NW Ontario, one discovers that some of the communities are related by family. There have been instances where several families got into their boats and traveled a long distance and started a new community at the side of a lake. These communities grew in size and infrastructure and eventually became recognized by the Canadian Government. This process still happens occasionally today. In this page, I want to make a quick reference to these familial relationships as I discover them. It is good that people become aware of connections such as these as they interact with the communities.
