These messages are delivered with an interpreter. (except for Raymond Mukuk). They alternate one verse in English and the other in Ojibwe. It is interesting to see the two languages placed side by side. It is delivered very powerfully, full of spirit. it is a great way to listen to the Ojibwe language spoken by so many Native people in  Ontario Canada. It is in a preaching style that I heard regularly at some UBF Bible conferences where there were visiting missionaries speaking in their national language. It is a wonderful way to get a sense of Jesus’ vision for world mission.

Raymond Mukuk. (only in English) Testimony from NEFC meetings Round Lake July 2012. A testimony of a person from Mishkeegogamang, (Oz), in 2012. He was changed by the power of the Gospel. He works at Metro Hope Center in Minneapolis. He also is a long distance runner. At the end, he testifies about his team and how people of different color need to work together.

Rodney Martin. A very powerful message delivered live from NEFC Meetings in Garden Hill, August 2012. It has to do Solomon and how he could not be satisfied. Only Jesus can satisfy our souls.

Heron Claus.  Heron is a Native missionary (Kiawah People. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kiawah_people ) to various Native people groups. He is preaching three messages at a conference in Round Lake NW Ontario in 2012. He is preaching at the invite of NEFC, the Native Evangelical Fellowship of Canada. He preaches in English and has an Ojibwe interpreter. Heron speaks one line and interpreter speaks the same thing in the Ojibwe Language. These are spiritual and edifying messages, and very useful to hearing what the Native language sounds like in preaching the Gospel.

Heron Claus Part 1.  Preached in Round Lake NW Ontario in 2012. The message includes some observations about unique elements in Native culture and the needs to build bridges between the groups.  Relationships are the most important. This is a message about our relationship with God and with each other, especially relationships among different Native people groups, and how the Gospel makes all that possible.

Heron Claus Part 2.  Preached in Round Lake NW Ontario in 2012. Get ready for a lengthy message, but an edifying one. Some of the points Heron makes are as follows…God can use us within our own culture for his glory. He urges people to walk with integrity and truth and reflect Christ. He tries to show how Christ is reflected in Exodus and the Tabernacle. God was showing us in the book of Exodus about Jesus again and again.  He talks about the various characteristics of Christ and how the Gospel is referred to as well.  He ties is all up with an explanation on what basis to accept or reject certain native spiritual practices, “Does it reflect Christ?”

Heron Claus  Part 3.  Preached in Round Lake NW Ontario in 2012. God back to our Creator and understand why he has created us.  Nice Seminole hymn is sung by Heron. He is making a connection to Native culture and Jewish Tribes. He explores how we can be intimate with Jesus. He uses marriage as an illustration to talk about our intimacy with God. Christ is with us in so many tough times in life.
