Mike Beauregard: Ten stories of Robert Bateman’s wolf

A ginormous timber wolf painting decorates one end of an apartment building in Thompson, Manitoba, Canada. Grey Wolf is staring down motorists on the main highway thru the wolf capital of the world. Possibly Earth’s largest Canis lupis painting, a Robert Bateman replica, was put up there by Charlie Johnson in 2005. The painting was sponsored by Manitoba Hydro.
