Lamenting over artificial things of the past and praying for God to lay deep foundations for the future. I have at best 40-50 years left in this world. What will last? What will follow me into heaven? What has failed to last? Some things were not meant to last. Some things will last as long as I live and some things will last forever. I guess we need them all. They are all part of life…the human experience. But discovering artificial things that I thought would last, sure hurts for a while.
