Meridian Hotel in Thompson

There is one place that I never fully understood until now…The Meridian Hotel. I walked drove by the place 1,000 times and never knew its history and what kind of hotel it was. I never went into it. I am sure I wasn’t the only one. But apparently it was a business that housed single men. They paid for the room and shared leisure spaces and the restaurant and kitchen. It opened in 1965. It was hotel over the years. It seems very peaceful and nice. I might choose to go here if I needed a hotel to get some rest. – Kevin Jesmer
