These articles were gleaned from old newspaper articles from Princeton Minnesota. Joseph A. Jesmer and Maryanne, pioneered there, along with  other extended family members in 1867.  Joseph and Maryann were my great great grandparents. The newspaper articles were gathered by my dad, Nelson E. Jesmer “Ted” when he and my  mom passed through Minneapolis in the early 2000’s. They sat in the Minnesota Historical society for many hours. I hope this series of newspaper articles gives you a better idea about life in their their little township which is about 16 miles west of Princeton.
