NIU- Network of Nations put on a wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner 11-22-13.

Here is an email invite to the event that we received..

“Don’t forget the annual Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow, Friday, November 22. What an opportunity for us as Americans to share our blessings with the international students. In addition to good food you can make friendships with students that can last a lifetime! We hope to see you there.

Provided are turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, dinner rolls, drinks, and dinnerware. If you plan to come and have not already been contacted for one of the above items, please bring a large cooked vegetable dish, green salad, fruit dish, or dessert to share. Please bring your food dish by 6:00 p.m. so that the tables can be prepared and the dinner start at 6:30 p.m.

When: Friday, November 22, 2013
Time: 6:00 p.m., with dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Immanuel Lutheran Church
511 Russell Road, DeKalb

“Thanksgiving dinner by Nation Network and the last cafe for our family. We are most thankful for NN for blessing our family and other international students and scholars and their families a weekly dinner and many other activities. Besides the yummy American home-cooked food that we are going to miss undeniably, there are friendly faces and warm hugs that we will miss miserably. Thank you for offering us a ‘home’ right here in Dekalb. Thank you for being part of our lives and always will be. God bless you all.”
