Our Jesmer homeland in Western Canada. Nelson A Jesmer, his wife, Jenny, their three kids (Ida, Carl and Harvey) as well as the son of Nelson’s first marriage, Herbert settled in Quill City in Quill Lake Saskatchewan area in 1904. Later, in 1926 the Statland family moved there from North Dakota. When you look at the country you can see why they wanted to make that area their home. Enjoy the pictures. (There is another branch of Jesmers, the descendants of Nelson’s youngest brother, Hubert Jesmer, who settled in Winnipeg Manitoba.) Enjoy the pictures.
