The Pink Apartments

The Pink Apartments. I never did know much about the Pink Apartments when I was living in Thompson. I never walked around them much at all. I knew only one family who lived there. When I was born in 1964, my family lived in an apartment for one year before buying 56 Hemlock (for $12,000). The apartment was not a Pink Apartment, but something like it. I remember a store situated among the Pink Apartments. Was it a grocery store or a meat store? I can’t remember. From an aerial picture it looks like there blue apartments and yellow apartments as well. What is the history of the Pink Apartments? Did anyone live in the pink apartments? Are they still Pink? What a about that store that was there? What neighborhood where they a part of?
