“I went to Thompson in 2012,had to go have a smoke in the pit, oh the memories, best place to grow up as a kid, the midnights, Friday night dances at the elks hall, Popeyes, meeting at the fountain, sniffle, realized it was gone on this trip and seeing old friends, been complimented many times on my drinking skills, I always reply, Thompson ,haha, we are a breed apart from many, us turkeys, and no matter where I go I always run into someone.” – Fern S. 2021
