These are some newspaper advertising from Wildrose ND 1910’s-1920’s
The following advertisements are added to give a person a “feel” for the world where Ole and Lena lived in North Dakota and the county where my grandmother Alice grew up. Wildrose North Dakota and Hazel County. They lived in an interesting time. The advertising of free land in western Canada may have caught the family’s attention and inspired them to move north.
