Things Related To First Nation People I Found in Montreal 2015.

Things Related To First Nation People I Found in Montreal 2015.  My wife and I dropped my daughter off in Montreal to study there. I was there for five days. Each day we drove and walked miles. We saw much of the inner city. I noticed there were a few references to First Nation people, in the form of murals and statues. I was blessed to be able to sit on a crowded Montreal city street and talk to an Inuit man from Ungava Bay Quebec and a Cree man from 700 km north of Montreal. One of them was in the city for medical treatment. What a blessed conversation it was…one of the highlights of my visit.

Here are a few pictures of the things I found. The first picture is from a statue in front of the Notre Dame Cathedral in the Old City. It is a centuries old bronze statue. There is a Native man and the Cathedral and the cross in the background. I thought is a was very symbolic.
