Thompson Cemetery

Concerning the cemetery…I spent almost 20 years in Thompson and I don’t know anyone buried there. I think there were a lot of young families and they moved away. In 1980 a friend of mine was driving his 1973 Toyota corolla stick shift to the perimeter road around the cemetery. There was about a foot of snow for it was spring. My friend gunned it thinking he would be able to drive around the road “rally car” style. We just immediately got stuck. In the same year we build 3/4 of a log cabin about 1/4 mile in the bush from the cemetery.
