Second and Third Generation Thompsonites

Posts from the the Second and Third Generation Thompsonites Facebook Group.

Many of us have fond memories of growing up and living in Thompson during the 1970s and 1980’s. We played outside until midnight. We drove to the airport road. We enjoyed the lakes, rivers and forests. We had grad parties at the lake. We ate at Popeyes and went to the Strand Theater. What about Santa Maria Pizza? The list goes on and on. We are not the pioneers of Thompson, but we contributed to its development and its legacy. We are the second and third generation of Thompsonites and we have a story to tell. This is a site for positive, encouraging, inclusive and uplifting posts about Thompson Manitoba in the 1970s and 1980s. All posts to this site must follow this spirit. May you find much joy and comfort reminiscing with others about Thompson Manitoba .
