Post-secondary education is not just going to College or University 500 or more miles away. This is not the only way. Sometimes it is an education over 2,200 feet underground! Being trained in an INCO meant attending underground classrooms. This picture is from the late seventies. There was a vast network of teaching rooms underground. I never saw down there. Was there anyone who can share their experiences getting trained underground. Here’s to all those who chose non-traditional routes for their post-secondary education. They help keep the county moving.
