A prayer for those wanting to listen to God in the quiet times of life…
Dear Lord heavenly Father, thank you for the quiet times, where we can turn our hearts heavenward and seek you. It is in those quiet moments, when we are all alone with you, with nothing else vying for our attention, that we can hear you whisper, “I love you” in our hearts. We can learn your wisdom and find clarity and direction in life. We can find your answers to our life’s questions. Thank you Lord, for meeting us in the quiet times. Help us to not be so busy as to ignore seeking out these valuable moments with you, our God, our Lord, our Father, our confidant and our friend. May the young people of our nation learn to put “talk time” with you, as a top priority in their life. May they hear the shepherd’s voice every day. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
