I am happy for my kids, Sarah and Augi, who are going to prom.

I am happy for my kids, Sarah and Augi, who are going to prom. In my senior year I opted for a lake side party. I wish I had gone to prom. It is a special time. Family is involved too. Not so in with my lakeside party. I am not sure but Prom could stand for promotion, (being promoted to adult life) or Promenade, (showcasing the couple).  In either case it is a celebration.
