Winter Roads in NW Ontario, above Sioux Lookout March 2016. The following are some pictures of the winter roads above Sioux Lookout NW Ontario. This is in March. It is a time when the roads were on the verge of being closed do to mild weather. It is a good idea to bring towing chains for there may be trucks in the snow banks. There are semi trucks. Ice Road Truckers, the TV program, was filming in the region. Also bring lots of extra gas cans. The price of gas is also very expensive. It cost over $200 to fill up one pick up truck in a northern community. Here is the adventure. Enjoy!
