A prayer for those overcome by suffering….Dear Lord, thank you for helping us to be positive and hopeful even in the times of suffering. There are so many forces in life that bring a dark cloud over our heads. But we know that with faith in you and your power to save, we can have a true and living hope. We know that through suffering we can mature and grow in faith…actually in every way. With faith, we can consistently light a candle instead of cursing the darkness. With faith, the glass is half full instead of half empty. Lord, Jesus Christ, you are the light of the world. Light our paths, even in the moments of deep hardships. I pray all of these things in the very positive and hopeful name of Jesus. Amen!
