Adam and Joanna are my great grandparents. They were Polish Catholics who lived-in modern-day Ukraine. They immigrated to Southwestern Manitoba Canada at the turn of the century. They were farmers. Adam worked on the railway in the winter. Their daughter, Emily (Dobranski) Sawicki was my maternal grandmother. May this page honor their legacy.
