Clemens August Mass and Anna (Spiekerman) Mass
This couple are the Great grandparents of my wife. August came from Germany at the age of 20. Anna was born to German immigrants. They met and married near Cincinatti Ohio. Julie’s side of the family came from Albert Mass, their son. August was a truck driver. They had six kids. (one died at the age of two.) Two of their sons, Edwin and Albert ended up in Los Angeles California. The other kids stayed in Ohio. August was a local truck driver. They lived at 1022 Poplar St in Cincinatti. Anna was in a fatal truck accident. Anna was living in nearby Milford in the 1920’s. They attended St Joseph Catholic Church and are buried in the New St Joseph Cemetery, (section 1`5).
