Magne Oliver Statland
Magne Oliver Statland is my great uncle. He is my grandmother’s, Alice Jesmer’s, brother. He was born to Ole and Lena Statland. He never married and had no children. He was in the US army and discharged in 1945. He was a quiet man who lived out his later years in the home of Harvey and Alice Jesmer, my grandparents. I remember visiting him in the 1970’s. He was always friendly and quiet. He was a tall man with huge feet. He liked to read.
