Nursing is mentally and physically challenging. A nurse needs to know the details of 5 to 7 patients, some of whom have complex medical histories and learn about all of them in 6 hours and be ready to answer any question that another medical professional may ask them on a moments notice and then give all this information to the next shift in 20 minutes, all the time trying to control feeling like you failed at your task somehow. Not only that they walk 3 miles a shift. Wow!
