The Art of the Forum

The Art of the Forum: A central space in the high school, where students could sit and socialize and relax was the forum. It was a very casual area where friend groups laid or sat on the ground and talked and laughed (and sometimes cried) together. It was a meeting place. In my day, there was some very colorful, large art pieces in the Forum. (put there in 1978). They were done by students. After a couple years I was home blind to it, but as I look back now, I can truly say that it was good art. It did leave a lasting memory in my mind. And so today I ask, who also was moved by the art in the forum? Were you one of the artists? Where is that art today? Is there new art pieces placed every couple years?
