The NEFC Conference. Winnipeg Manitoba. July 11-13, 2015.
NEFC stands for Native Evangelical Fellowship of Canada. They have various conferences throughout the year. They have a yearly conference in Winnipeg, of which I attended the last two years. The conference is attended by mostly, Cree Canadian Christians and missionaries. There is preaching and lots of singing. This year they had a couple, who sang hymns in the Ojibway language. They had a group from Nelson House MB who sang in Cree. I was blessed to attend two days of this conference, Friday and Saturday. At the conference I could network with a lot of people and enjoy worship and prayer and learn some great teachings on the spiritual lessons of tithing, by a Seneca Native Pastor who pastors on, and off, a first Nation community near Niagara Falls USA.
