Southwood Restaurant

In my books the Southwood Restaurant was the finest coffee shop in town. I loved the endless coffee and also the heated raison butter tarts and ice-cream and the early morning breakfasts. They had good fried and gravy. There were lineups to get in and sit down, it was so popular. When you went there, your stood at the front and peered into the restaurant to see if there was anyone you knew, and most times there was. One would never think that a picture could be found of the packed coffee shop in 1977. But I found one! In the 1978 year book. Look at the crowds in this place! No wonder there was a line up at the front every evening. Is there anyone out there that worked at the restaurant? Was it your go to place for coffee and conversation?
