God Inspires His People To Make Decisions of Faith. By Kevin E. Jesmer 2-8-18
The reason I make reference to “God-Inspired” decisions, is that there are decisions in life that Christians can make only if God has inspired them and enabled them to make those decisions. We can make impulsive decisions based on emotions. We can make fast decisions based on seeing a miracle, or a great need, for example. These decisions do not have lasting power for their foundation is emotional impulse.
But decisions that are inspired by God are lasting. They have a solid foundation, for they are born in God, based on his will. They are made after much prayer and consultation with the Word of God and other mature Christians. They are not quick for it takes time to find their affirmation. When the decisions are made they are “solid”. They have substance and are lasting. God can work in a person’s life who have made a God-inspired decision.
