Jule (b. abt 1867) and Emma Ego
Jule and Emma Ego. Jules is the son of Jean Philippe Soquet. He is the brother of my great grandmother, Genevieve (Jenny) (Soquet) Jesmer. He was born Sept 15, 1866 in Wisconsin. Another form of his name is Julius Soquet.
He was living with his father at the time of the murder of Esperance Soquet. He moved to Oregon and began to work for a man with the last name Ego. Because Jule was illiterate, he decided to take on the last name of the man he worked for. These are some pictures that are found in ancestry.com.
